Loyola Chicago 62, Texas Tech 44: Jay Knuth scored 15 points and was 13-of-14 from the free-throw line as the Ramblers stunned the Red Raiders in the semifinals of the Continental Tire Las Vegas Classic.

Ben Richardson scored nine points and Earl Peterson added eight for Loyola (9-2), which meets Boise State in Tuesday's championship game. Devon Turk scored seven points for the Ramblers, who have won five in a row for the first time since 2010.

Justin Gray scored 17 points for Texas Tech (9-2), which had its eight-game winning streak snapped. Robert Turner added 11 points but was 0-for-5 from 3-point range as the Red Raiders finished 0-for-21 from beyond the arc.

Loyola took the lead for good in the first half with a 10-0 run - highlighted by a pair of 3-pointers by Richardson - to make it 17-11 and stretched the advantage to 28-19 at the break. Justin Gray scored back-to-back buckets to open the second half and draw Texas Tech to within 28-23.

After Gray's dunk trimmed the deficit to 31-27, the Ramblers scored seven straight points in 1:46 to take control. Gray's basket cut Loyola's lead to 40-33 with 12:06 remaining before the Ramblers put it away with a 9-2 run.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Texas Tech meets Houston in Tuesday's consolation game. ... The Red Raiders have held all 10 of their opponents to less than 70 points. ... The Ramblers were 5-of-15 from 3-point range.
