Georgetown 66, No. 16 Florida 65 (OT): D'Vauntes Smith-Rivera's basket with 3.4 seconds in overtime lifted the Hoyas into the semifinals of the Battle 4 Atlantis in the Bahamas with a victory over the Gators.

Georgetown won the back-and-forth contest to advance to meet No. 3 Wisconsin in Thursday's semifinals. Smith-Rivera led the Hoyas with 17 points while Jabril Trawick and Paul White added 10 apiece for Georgetown (4-0).

Florida moved into the consolation bracket where it faces UAB on Thursday. Dorian Finney-Smith led Florida (2-2) with 16 points while Michael Frazier II added 12.

L.J. Peak hit a 3-pointer with 31 seconds left in overtime to give the Hoyas a 64-62 lead and Florida called timeout with 25.2 seconds remaining to set up a play. Kasey Hill drove, drew a foul from Mikael Hopkins and converted a three-point play with 11.5 remaining, giving Florida a 65-64 advantage.

The Hoyas worked the ball to Smith-Rivera, who hit the game-winner just inside the 3-point arc. Florida had time for one final shot, but Eli Carter’s potential winner missed the mark.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Gators played it down to the final seconds in regulation but Carter’s shot in the lane was blocked by Peak. … It was unclear how much playing time Carter and Finney-Smith would receive because of injuries, but Carter was available for 33 minutes while Finney-Smith played 28 against the Hoyas. ... The teams were a combined 3-for-16 from 3-point range in the second half.
