Temple hit only 3-of-14 shots from the field in the opening 11 minutes and could not get any closer than eight after that as the Blue Devils led 36-26 at halftime.

Two Cook 3-pointers bookended a 13-5 spurt early in the second half before Okafor scored on two baskets in the post and Winslow knocked down a 3-pointer to push Duke’s lead to 57-35 with 10:33 to play. Back-to-back baskets from Cummings pulled the Owls within 62-48 with 5:31 to play, but Okafor blocked a shot to set up Cook’s jumper and two Winslow free throws with four minutes left extended the lead to 66-48.
