Washington 77, No. 13 Utah 68: Nigel Williams-Goss poured in 28 points as the Huskies surprised the visiting Utes in the regular-season finale for both teams.

Andrew Andrews added 16 points and Mike Anderson recorded 15 for Washington (16-14, 5-13 Pac-12), which outscored Utah 46-32 in the second half to win for only the second time in its last 12 games. The Huskies, who also received a season-high 14 points from Jernard Jarreau, shot 51 percent - including 8-for-14 from 3-point range - and finished with advantages in rebounding (28-23) and free throws (19-11).

Delon Wright scored 21 points - including 9-of-9 free throws - to pace Utah (23-7, 13-5), which has lost two of three and was overtaken by Oregon for the second seed in the Pac-12 tournament. Freshman Jakob Poeltl went 8-for-8 from the floor en route to with 18 points and Jordan Loveridge added 11 for the Utes, who shot 52 percent from the field but surrendered a season-high 77 points and committed 14 turnovers.

Washington, which trailed 36-31 at halftime, got two 3-pointers from Jarreau as part of a 22-8 run to turn a 45-38 deficit into a 60-53 lead with 4:50 to play. Wright hit a jumper to pull Utah within 64-60 with 1:44 remaining, but Williams-Goss answered with a 3-pointer and followed an off-target, long-range attempt by Brandon Taylor with a pair of free throws with 41.8 seconds left to effectively seal the upset win.

It was a tight opening 20 minutes, with Poeltl scoring 15 for Utah and Williams-Goss contributing 12 for Washington as neither team could build more than a five-point advantage. The Huskies overcame a 26-21 deficit to go back in front 30-28 with 2:52 left in the half, but Wright scored seven points as the Utes closed out the period with an 8-1 run to take the five-point lead into the break.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Utah only had allowed two previous opponents (Ball State and Wichita State) to score more than 66 points. … Jarreau, who entered having made only two 3-pointers in six attempts, finished 3-for-4 from long range. … Anderson and F Shawn Kemp Jr., who missed his fourth straight game with a calf strain, were honored on Washington’s Senior Day.
