Missouri 63, Auburn 61: Keith Shamburger matched his career high with 21 points as visiting Missouri scored the final nine points to win for the third time in SEC play.

Shamburger, who scored 21 in the first meeting this season against Auburn, sank a jumper in the lane with 10.9 seconds left after a backcourt steal by teammate Montaque Gill-Caesar and Auburn's KT Harrell missed a 3 at the buzzer. Gill-Caesar scored 10 off the bench and Namon Wright also scored 10 for Missouri (9-21, 3-14), which had lost 14 of its last 15.

Harrell shot 5-for-10 from 3-point range and scored 24 points to lead Auburn (12-18, 4-13), which has lost five straight. Freshman guard TJ Lang added a season-high 13 points for Auburn, which played without second-leading scorer Antoine Mason, whose father - former NBA veteran Anthony Mason - died Saturday at age 48.

Auburn led by eight with 3:36 left and Malcolm Canada’s basket kept the advantage at seven with 3:06 on the clock, but those would be the final points for Auburn. Wright tied the score at 61 with a reverse layup before Gill-Caesar stole the ball in the backcourt after a Shamburger miss - the third straight turnover by Auburn - and passed it to Shamburger for his game-winning jumper.

Neither team led by more than six points in the game or three points in the second half before Auburn moved ahead 45-41 on a free throw by Harrell with 11:30 left. Auburn took a five-point lead with 10:19 on the clock and stretched the advantage to 52-46 on a 3-pointer by Harrell, his fourth of the game and the seventh for Auburn, which moved them into a tie for 10th in program history with 212 on the season.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Auburn F Cinmeon Bowers, who came in averaging 10.1 rebounds, was held to four and has failed to reach double figures in that category in the last seven games …. Harrell is tied with Keenan Carpenter for the fifth-most 3-pointers in a season (84) in program history. … Johnathan Williams III came in leading Missouri in scoring at 12.2 per game, but finished below that number for the fourth straight game after scoring nine points.
