LSU 73, Ole Miss 63: Tim Quarterman recorded a triple-double with 18 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists to lead the way as the Tigers snapped the Rebels' school-record four-game SEC road winning streak.

Jarell Martin tallied 18 points and 12 rebounds for LSU (21-8, 10-6 SEC). Keith Hornsby added 16 points while Jordan Mickey had 11 points and four blocked shots for the Tigers.

Stefan Moody scored 15 points on 3-of-16 shooting to lead Ole Miss (19-10, 10-6). Sebastian Saiz added 11 points while LaDarius White had nine off the bench for the Rebels.

The Rebels reeled off 12 straight points to take a 26-15 lead with just over six minutes left in the first half but were outscored 8-1 for the remainder of the half before taking a 27-23 edge into the break. The Tigers needed only 3 1/2 minutes in the second half to take the lead, moving ahead on Jalyn Patterson's 3-pointer in the midst of an 11-0 burst.

Moody's 3-pointer pulled Ole Miss within 44-40 with less than 11 1/2 minutes to play, but Quarterman answered with a three-point play, Mickey scored consecutive baskets and Hornsby hit a 3-pointer to push the margin back to 12. The Rebels didn't get closer than eight points the rest of the way.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Quarterman's triple-double is the first by an LSU player since Shaquille O'Neal had 26 points, 13 rebounds and 11 blocks against BYU on March 19, 1992. … LSU improved to 19-1 this season when scoring at least 70 points. … Ole Miss G Jarvis Summers finished with four points and four assists, becoming the fifth player in SEC history with 1,500 points and 500 assists in his career.
