Georges Niang had 23 points and eight rebounds as the Cyclones extended their home win streak to 19 games.

Monte Morris went 7-of-9 from the floor for 16 points and six assists for Iowa State (16-4, 6-2 Big 12), which outrebounded TCU 44-30. Bryce Dejean-Jones chipped in 16 points and seven rebounds while Dustin Hogue added 12 points and seven rebounds.

Trey Zeigler led TCU (14-7, 1-7) with 14 points and Chris Washburn added 11. Brandon Parrish had 11 points off the bench for the Horned Frogs, who recorded 10 steals.

Amric Fields and Parrish hit back-to-back 3s as TCU scored eight points in a 40-second span for a brief 17-16 lead and Iowa State's 9-2 run gave the Cyclones a brief 33-28 lead with 90 seconds left in the first half. TCU tied the game on Parrish's 3-pointer late but Morris hit a layup in the final seconds for a 35-33 halftime lead.

Niang and Hogue each had two baskets as the Cyclones opened the second half on a 10-2 run and Niang later hit a jumper and a 3 on consecutive possessions for a 50-40 lead with less than 14 minutes left. TCU cut the deficit to five on Kenrich Williams' layup but an 8-0 run - capped by a pair of Morris transition layups - provided another double-digit lead, and TCU did not threaten in the final eight minutes.

GAME NOTEBOOK: It was the fourth time an opponent has scored 70 points against the Horned Frogs. ... TCU entered the game averaging 28 free-throw attempts but went 1-of-8 at the line. ... The Cyclones remain in a second-place tie with West Virginia and travel to first-place Kansas on Monday.
