No. 18 Texas 66, TCU 48: Javan Felix scored 15 points off the bench to lead the way as the visiting Longhorns claimed their 10th consecutive win over the Horned Frogs.

Isaiah Taylor collected 13 points, seven rebounds and six assists for Texas (14-4, 3-2 Big 12), which has won 14 of 15 in the series including a 7-0 mark under coach Rick Barnes. Myles Turner chipped in 11 points in a reserve role and Cameron Ridley added 10 for the Longhorns.

Kenrich Williams scored 10 points to lead TCU (14-4, 1-4), which shot 33.3 percent from the field and was 3-of-18 from 3-point range. Leading scorer Kyan Anderson was limited to two points on 1-of-5 shooting.

The Longhorns never trailed, scoring the first five points and racing out to a quick 9-2 lead. The margin hit double digits when Taylor's 3-pointer made it 22-12 midway through the half, and Texas led by as many as 15 before settling for a 33-20 advantage at the break.

The Horned Frogs twice pulled within 10 early in the second half, but Texas answered each time and Felix scored nine points during a 14-0 run that turned it into a rout. TCU used a 12-2 spurt to trim the deficit to 14 with just under five minutes remaining but didn't get any closer.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Texas improved to 145-21 against in-state opponents under Barnes. … Felix has made at least one 3-pointer in 19 straight games dating back to last season. … TCU was 9-of-23 from the foul line while Texas was 13-of-17.
