Delon Wright had 21 points and six assists as the visiting Utes ran away from the Sun Devils.

Jordan Loveridge hit 3-of-5 3-pointers for 14 points and eight rebounds for Utah (14-2, 4-0 Pac-12), which shot 53.7 percent from the floor. Brandon Taylor added 13 points while Wright was 12-of-12 from the foul line.

Gerry Blakes led Arizona State (8-9, 0-4) with 10 points and Savon Goodman added nine points and 10 rebounds before fouling out with 2:36 left to play. Eric Jacobsen added eight points and Roosevelt Scott had seven off the bench late.

The Utes broke open the game with an 18-3 run in the first half, started by 3-pointers by Loveridge and Brekkott Chapman and capped by Jakob Poeltl's bucket for a 31-15 lead with just over three minutes left. The Sun Devils tried to gain some traction with Kodi Justice's 3-pointer and Goodman's alley-oop dunk but Wright added to the Utah lead by hitting six straight free throws in the final 70 seconds for a 40-23 halftime advantage.

Wright's fast-break dunk pushed the lead to 53-31 with 12 minutes left and Dakarai Tucker and Isaiah Wright hit back-to-back 3s for a 26-point lead two minutes later. Utah had one field goal in the last 6 1/2 minutes and Scott ended a 12-2 run with a layup and 3-pointer to get the Sun Devils with 17 with less than three minutes left.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Utah finishes this road trip Saturday against No. 9 Arizona. ... It was Utah's largest margin of victory in a Pac-12 road game. The previous was a nine-point win at Washington in 2013. ... The Utes hit 9-of-17 3-pointers and attempted 20 more free throws (23-of-30) than Arizona State.
