No. 15 Wichita State 63, Bradley 43: Darius Carter scored 13 of his 19 points in the second half to power the Shockers to their 25th consecutive home win.

Ron Baker added 12 points and Shaquille Morris chipped in 10 and seven rebounds off the bench as Wichita State (13-2, 3-0 Missouri Valley Conference) beat the Braves for the 10th straight time. Carter also had seven rebounds as the Shockers dominated the backboards 41-28.

Auston Barnes had 10 points and six rebounds for Bradley (6-10, 1-2), which led by a point at halftime before unraveling after the break. Ka'Darryl Bell added 11 points and Tramique Sutherland had 10 as the Braves shot 18.2 percent and scored 15 points in the second half.

Wichita State, trailing by one point with just over 12 minutes remaining, finally got untracked as Baker knocked down back-to-back 3-pointers and Carter scored seven straight points in an 18-2 burst to build a 49-34 lead with just over 7 1/2 minutes to play. The Braves missed 14-of-15 shots to start the half and never recovered.

The Shockers missed 10 of their first 12 shots but Bradley couldn't take advantage as neither team led by more than four points in the opening 20 minutes. A 3-pointer by Barnes and Sutherland's jumper sent the Braves to the half clinging to a 28-27 lead.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Shockers won their 21st straight conference game, tying Oklahoma (1927-28) and Missouri (1919-20) for the sixth-longest streak in MVC history. ... Braves F Josh Cunningham wound up with six rebounds to come up short in his bid to join Hersey Hawkins as the only player in school history with double-digit boards in four straight games. ... Bradley leading scorer Warren Cooper (foot) sat out his eighth straight game but could return Saturday.
