Arkansas 84, Milwaukee 54: Bobby Portis scored 18 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead the host Razorbacks to their third straight win.

Michael Qualls finished with 17 points and Rashad Madden added 15, making 3-of-5 from 3-point range, for Arkansas (9-2). The Razorbacks, who finished with a 49-29 rebounding edge and a 38-16 advantage in points in the paint, extended their nonconference home win streak to 24 games.

Matt Tiby scored 15 points while Steve McWhorter finished with 13 points and six rebounds for Milwaukee (5-8), which shot 28.8 percent from the field and made just 4-of-24 from behind the 3-point arc. The Panthers, who won 10 road games a year ago en route to an NCAA Tournament berth, fell to 0-5 on the road this season.

Qualls scored four of his points in the first seven minutes as the Razorbacks jumped out to an early 11-4 lead. But Milwaukee, coming off a 61-56 loss at SIU-Edwardsville on Saturday, wouldn't go away, closing to within 26-20 after a 3-pointer by Cody Wichmann with a little over three minutes left in the half, and trailed 35-24 at halftime.

The Panthers got as close as eight points at 35-27 on a three-point play by J.J. Panoske to open the second half, but the Razorbacks went on a 8-0 run a few minutes later to increase their lead to 49-31 with 14 minutes to go. Milwaukee never got closer than 15 points the rest of the way and Arkansas blew the game open with a late 14-0 run that featured 10 points by Madden, including a pair of 3-pointers.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Portis has scored in double figures in 10 of 11 games this season. ... Arkansas has scored at least 70 points in 27 of its last 29 non-conference games. ... The Hogs, who entered the game third in the nation in assists (19.3), finished with 19 assists.
