Oregon State 90, DePaul 59: Victor Robbins scored a career-high 27 points as the host Beavers routed the Blue Demons to record their fifth consecutive victory.

Olaf Schaftenar also set a career best by scoring 21 points for Oregon State (8-2), which shot 54.5 percent from the field. Gary Payton II contributed 15 points, seven rebounds, five assists and five steals and Malcolm Duvivier added 11 points and four steals.

Jamee Crockett scored 14 points for DePaul (6-4), which suffered its third straight loss. The Blue Demons committed 16 turnovers, went 5-of-25 from 3-point range and were outrebounded 39-28.

Schaftenar scored 11 of Oregon State’s first 13 points and later hit a jumper to give the Beavers a 24-8 advantage. An 11-0 surge capped by Tanner Sanders’ 3-pointer pushed the lead to 20 with 4:54 left in the half and Oregon State held a 48-28 edge at the break.

A 3-pointer by Schaftenar increased the margin to 24 with 14:38 remaining and a basket by Sanders made it 71-42 with 8:11 to go. Duvivier converted a three-point play to push the lead to 83-51 with 4:58 left and the advantage topped out at 34 points.

GAME NOTEBOOK:
Oregon State G Langston Morris-Walker had 10 rebounds and eight assists to go with seven points. … DePaul was 18-of-27 from the free-throw line while the Beavers were a scorching 23-of-26. … Robbins’ previous high-scoring output came in Oregon State’s last game when he scored 22 points against Grambling State.
