No. 4 Louisville 68, UNC Wilmington 57: Montrezl Harrell recorded 19 points and a career-high 17 rebounds as the Cardinals shook off a slow start against the visiting Seahawks.

Terry Rozier also scored 19 points and made three of the 10 steals by Louisville (9-0). Wayne Blackshear scored all 11 of his points in the first half and grabbed eight rebounds for the Cardinals, who came in allowing the seventh-fewest points per game (52.4) and fourth-lowest opponents' field-goal percentage (33.5) in the nation.

Freddie Jackson scored 16 points to lead UNC Wilmington (3-3), which shot 38.7 percent. Freshman guard Jordan Talley added a season-high 13 points off the bench for the Seahawks.

The Cardinals led by 17 with just under 12 minutes remaining when they went silent for a five-minute stretch, allowing UNC Wilmington to cut the deficit to two with a 15-0 run. Rozier and Harrell made back-to-back jumpers around two misses by the Seahawks, and the visitors were unable to get back within four points.

Louisville missed nine of its first 10 field-goal attempts, but UNC Wilmington didn’t capitalize and the Cardinals moved ahead for the first time on five straight points by Blackshear. The teams traded the lead until Louisville outscored the Seahawks 17-8 over the final nine minutes of the first half to take a 32-24 halftime lead.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Louisville has not trailed by more than five points or past the 16:04 mark of the second half this season. … UNC Wilmington coach Kevin Keatts spent the previous three seasons at Louisville as an associate coach. … The Cardinals came in shooting 29 percent from 3-point range and finished 1-for-13.
