Tulsa 78, Arkansas-Little Rock 73: James Woodard scored 20 points — including five 3-pointers — and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead the visiting Golden Hurricane past the Trojans.

Shaquille Harrison added 17 points and five assists for Tulsa (5-3), which shot 51.2 percent from the field. Rashad Ray added 11 points, six rebounds and five assists off the bench while Marquel Curtis chipped in with 10 points.

Josh Hagins paced Arkansas-Little Rock (4-3) with 20 points and seven assists while J.T. Thomas added 19, including 10 points in the final 44 seconds of the game. James White had 12 points and 11 rebounds for the Trojans.

The Golden Hurricane came out fast, scoring the game's first eight points and taking an 11-point lead on Woodard's 3-pointer with 11:45 to play in the half. The lead was still 12 with 6:34 to play when the Trojans went on a 12-3 run — with Hagins scoring five in the stretch — though Tulsa got it back to eight by halftime.

The lead was back to 10 early in the second half, but Little Rock held the Hurricane scoreless for nearly four minutes midway through the stanza, pulling within two on White's jumper with 10:42 to go. But Tulsa responded with a quick 6-2 run to get a little breathing room and pushed the advantage to 11 on Harrison's layup with 5:49 to play, and the Trojans never seriously threatened from there as the Hurricane went 10-of-10 from the free-throw line in the closing 1:01.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Harrison and Ray combined to shoot 15-of-17 from the free-throw line, while the rest of the Golden Hurricane was 8-of-20. … Arkansas-Little Rock turned the ball over just five times while forcing 16 by Tulsa. … The Golden Hurricane hit 11-of-18 3-pointers while the Trojans connected on 11-of-23.
