Brandon Goodwin recorded 10 points, four rebounds and four assists for UCF (2-0), which trailed by six early in the second half before outscoring Eckerd 41-18 the rest of the way. Kasey Wilson added 11 points and five boards while registering two of the Knights' eight blocks.

Jerrick Stevenson had 17 points and four steals while Kevin Walsh scored 13 for Eckerd (1-2), which shot 31 percent from the field in the second half. E.J. UCF trailed 37-35 at halftime despite shooting 13-of-18 from the field - 9-of-10 from inside the 3-point arc, but was hindered by 10 turnovers. The Tritons, who trailed by as many as 12 prior to the break, took their biggest lead 41-35 on Trevon Young's jumper 1:03 into the second half.

The Knights responded with a 12-2 run, highlighted by two 3-pointers from Henriquez, as Eckerd went nearly five minutes without a field goal. Moody's bucket with 13:38 left got the Tritons even at 47 before the Knights scored 10 straight points - capped by two Henriquez baskets - and were not threatened from there.

UCF plays 10 of its first 12 games at home and leaves Florida only once to play Illinois-Chicago in Chicago on Dec. 11 before the calendar flips to 2015.
