Texas A&M 59, Wyoming 43: Kourtney Roberson scored 14 points and grabbed 10 rebounds as the host Aggies breezed past the Cowboys in the first round of the College Basketball Invitational.

Antwan Space added 11 points and 11 rebounds for Texas A&M (18-15), which will face Illinois State in the quarterfinals. Fabyon Harris also scored 11 points while Alex Caruso dished out a game-high 10 assists for the Aggies, who finished 10-of-12 from the free-throw line.

Jerron Granberry led the way with 10 points for Wyoming (18-15), which shot a season-low 29.8 percent from the field. Josh Adams, who had scored 20 points or more in four straight games, was held to five on 2-of-8 shooting, but pulled down a team-high five rebounds for the Cowboys.

Space and Jordan Green each scored seven early points as Texas A&M sped out to a 21-4 lead. The Aggies held Wyoming to just 26.9 percent shooting and forced eight turnovers in the first half to take a commanding 32-16 edge into the break.

Roberson tipped in Harris' miss to put Texas A&M on top 47-26 and Space's dunk stretched the advantage to 57-31 with 7:12 remaining. The Aggies didn't let their lead slip below 20 until the final minute as they improved to 17-3 at Reed Arena this season.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Texas A&M has won 66 of its last 79 home games against unranked opponents. … Wyoming went 5-of-24 from beyond the arc to finish with a season-low 43 points. … The Aggies won the battle of the boards 41-27.
