North Carolina State 78, Boston College 68:
T.J. Warren had a career-high 42 points on 14-of-23 shooting and also grabbed 13 rebounds as the host Wolfpack closed out the regular season with a victory in ACC play.

Desmond Lee added 11 points off the bench and Tyler Lewis had eight for North Carolina State (19-12, 9-9 ACC). The Wolfpack secured the No. 7 seed in the ACC tournament and will face the winner of Wednesday's game between Miami and Virginia Tech.

Olivier Hanlan finished with 29 points on 10-of-17 shooting and dished out five assists for Boston College (8-23, 4-14 ACC), which will face Georgia Tech on Wednesday as the No. 14 seed. Ryan Anderson contributed 15 points and five boards, and Joe Rahon scored eight points.

Riding the hot streak he forged against Pittsburgh earlier in the week, Warren erupted for 22 points in the first half and led the Wolfpack to a 42-31 advantage at intermission. Trailing 46-32 early in the second half, the Eagles ran off 15 straight points to capture their first lead after the break.

North Carolina State went back on top, 52-49, with a 3-pointer from Lewis with 11:17 left and the game remained close until Warren sparked a 13-2 run with 10 points to put the Wolfpack up 69-60. Boston College never got closer than six points the rest of the way.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Warren scored 20-plus points in the first half for the fourth time this season. ... Patrick Heckmann, who averaged 13.3 points for the Eagles over the last four games, finished with one point on 0-of-4 shooting. ... Warren's 42 points topped his previous career-high of 41 against Pittsburgh on Monday, giving him 83 points in his final two games of the season.
