Northwestern 74, Purdue 65:
Drew Crawford scored 27 points and grabbed seven rebounds as the visiting Wildcats completed a season sweep over the Boilermakers.

Alex Olah added 14 points and seven rebounds for Northwestern (13-18, 6-12 Big Ten), which snapped a seven-game losing streak. Tre Demps chipped in with 10 points and five assists for the Wildcats, who committed just six turnovers.

Rapheal Davis recorded 13 points and a game-high nine rebounds for Purdue (15-16, 5-13), which has lost six games in a row. A.J. Hammons also scored 13 points while Terone Johnson netted 10 in his last game at Mackey Arena for the Boilermakers, who shot 35.6 percent from the field.

Olah knocked down a 3-pointer to put Northwestern on top 22-16 and the Wildcats held Purdue to 19.2 percent shooting in the first half to take a 28-21 edge into the break. Crawford nailed a jumper to put Northwestern up by nine early in the second half and Sanjay Lumpkin hit two straight triples later on to stretch the advantage to 45-32.

Kale Abrahamson's basket gave the Wildcats their biggest lead of the game at 56-41 before Davis made a 3-pointer to trim the deficit to six with under three minutes remaining. Crawford scored nine straight points for Northwestern down the stretch to seal the win and end a three-game road skid in the process.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Crawford finished 13-of-14 from the free-throw line. … Purdue went 4-of-18 from 3-point land and is 7-of-32 from beyond the arc in its last two games. … The Boilermakers fell to 2-13 when trailing at halftime this season.
