LSU 57, Vanderbilt 51: Johnny O'Bryant III tallied 25 points and 10 rebounds as the visiting Tigers were able to shake off an ugly first half and snap their seven-game road losing streak.

Andre Stringer scored 11 points off the bench, going 8-of-8 at the foul line, as LSU (18-11, 9-8 SEC) survived despite shooting 33.3 percent overall and 2-of-15 from 3-point range. Shavon Coleman contributed nine points and eight rebounds as the Tigers rallied from a 16-point deficit to sweep the season series.

Rod Odom scored 15 points to lead Vanderbilt (15-14, 7-10) but was just 4-of-18 from the field and missed 10 of his 13 shots from beyond the arc. Damian Jones collected nine points, six rebounds and four blocked shots for the Commodores.

Coleman hit a pair of free throws with 3:02 left to give LSU its first lead at 51-49, and O'Bryant hit a jumper two trips later to extend it to a four-point advantage. The Tigers held Vanderbilt scoreless on five straight possessions and made their last 10 free throws to seal it.

The Commodores pushed the margin to 28-12 with a 9-0 run as LSU missed seven straight shots, but settled for a 32-24 lead at the break. Kyle Fuller put Vanderbilt up 48-45 with 5:24 left but was unable to convert the three-point play and the Commodores didn't make another field goal the rest of the way.

GAME NOTEBOOK: LSU set season-low marks for shooting (26.7 percent) and points (24) in the first half. … Vanderbilt coach Kevin Stallings was whistled for a technical foul with just over a minute left before halftime. … Odom made three of his first four shots before missing 10 straight.
