Georgia Tech 67, No. 7 Syracuse 62: Trae Golden made six clutch free throws as part of a 16-point performance as the visiting Yellow Jackets upset the Orange, whose late-season free fall shows no signs of ending.

Georgia Tech (14-16, 5-12 ACC) snapped a four-game losing streak thanks in large part to Golden and Daniel Miller, who had 15 points, six rebounds and six blocks. Robert Carter Jr. added 12 points and nine boards while Kammeon Holsey chipped in nine points off the bench.

Syracuse (26-4, 13-4) has lost four of five since opening the season with 25 straight wins - a slump that includes home losses to two of the ACC's worst teams in Boston College and Georgia Tech. C.J. Fair scored 28 points on senior night while Tyler Ennis chipped in 18 points and seven assists.

The Orange erased most of a 13-point second-half deficit, closing to within 61-59 on Michael Gbinije's follow with 34 seconds left, only to see Golden make four free throws over the next nine seconds. Fair's 3-pointer made it 65-62 with 19 ticks remaining, but Golden went 2-of-2 from the foul line yet again, and Trevor Cooney, who was 1-of-8 from 3-point range, misfired from behind the arc to seal Syracuse's latest defeat.

Holsey and Golden each scored seven first-half points as Georgia Tech led 31-23 at intermission. The visitors pushed their lead to as much as 54-41 with 7 1/2 minutes to play before Ennis nailed a 3-pointer to begin Syracuse's comeback.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Syracuse played without F Jerami Grant (back), who ranks third on the team in scoring (12.1) and first in rebounding (6.7). ... The Orange struggled offensively, shooting 39.1 percent from the field and 5-of-17 from the arc, and they still have not scored more than 62 points in any of their last nine games. ... The Yellow Jackets' bench outscored their Syracuse counterparts, 17-4.
