Maxime Raynaud led all scorers with 26 points as host Stanford held off SMU 73-68 on Saturday afternoon.

Raynaud's rebound tip-in dunk on a miss from Ryan Agarwal with eight seconds left gave the Cardinal (19-10, 11-7 Atlantic Coast Conference) a five-point lead to secure the win in their home finale.

The Mustangs (21-8, 12-6) went on a 13-0 run midway through the second half and led by five with just under eight minutes remaining.

But Stanford rallied and reclaimed the lead when Benny Gealer hit consecutive 3-pointers with five minutes left. Gealer had 17 points off the bench and was 5 of 6 from beyond the 3-point arc. Raynaud was 11 of 20 from the field, including 2 of 5 from deep.

SMU was without leading scorer Boopie Miller for the fifth consecutive game. Miller has been sidelined with a bruised foot.

Stanford led 45-39 at the half after shooting 60 percent from the field, including 7 of 14 on 3-pointers. The Cardinal finished the game shooting 54.5 percent from the floor and 11 of 24 from 3-point land. The Mustangs shot 45.1 percent from the field, including 6 of 16 made threes.

Chuck Harris and Kario Oquendo led SMU with 17 and 15 points respectively, but combined to shoot 3 of 9 from beyond the 3-point arc. Matt Cross added 13 points on 5-of-11 shooting.

The Mustangs took the lead in the second half thanks partly to a 10-5 overall rebounding advantage on the offensive glass and an 18-6 edge in second-chance points.

SMU is 2-3 without Miller. The Mustangs host Syracuse on Tuesday and finish the regular season at Florida State on March 8.

Stanford has won three straight games -- all at home -- and finished the season 16-2 at Maples Pavilion, including 9-1 in ACC action. The lone home ACC loss was a 79-73 setback against Wake Forest on Feb. 5.

The Cardinal finish the regular season on the road, including at Notre Dame on Wednesday and at Louisville on March 8.
