Maxime Raynaud finished with 22 points with 11 rebounds to lead Stanford to a 90-64 victory against visiting Northern Arizona on Tuesday, giving the Cardinal a 3-0 start under new coach Kyle Smith.

Smith came from Washington State after Stanford fired Jerod Haase.

Raynaud, who returned to Stanford after entering the transfer portal following Haase's departure, was one of five Cardinal players to score in double-figure against Northern Arizona (2-1).

Oziyah Sellers finished with 17 points, sophomore Ryan Agarwal had a career-high 15 points, Duke transfer Jaylen Blakes scored 13 and Benny Gealer had 10.

Northern Arizona was led by Trenton McLaughlin's 20 points. Oakland Fort added 13 points on 6-of-9 shooting from the field, and Carson Towt had 11 points.

A 3-pointer by Dylan Baker with 15:19 left in the first half put Northern Arizona ahead 13-4. The Lumberjacks then went scoreless for more than six minutes as Stanford reeled off a 16-0 run.

Raynaud had 11 points in that stretch, which included Northern Arizona missing nine consecutive shots from the field.

Stanford's lead increased to 48-26 by the end of the first half.

Raynaud had 13 points at the half, Sellers 12 and Gealer 10. That trio made 12 of 20 shots from the field by halftime, outshooting Northern Arizona at that point. The Lumberjacks made 11 of 32 attempts (34.4 percent) before the break.

After a McLaughlin 3-pointer with 15:04 left cut the lead to 54-41, Raynaud made a jumper and Agarwal converted two shots from beyond the arc in an 8-0 run.

A 9-2 run for Stanford extended the lead to 76-52 with 7:35 remaining.

Blakes had 11 points in the second half while Raynaud and Agarwal each finished with nine. Agarwal shot 3-for-3 from 3-point range after intermission.

The Cardinal shot 55.2 percent from the field, 45.5 percent from beyond the arc (5-for-11), in the second half.

Stanford shot 56.1 percent overall while Northern Arizona finished at 44.6 percent.

The Cardinal outrebounded the Lumberjacks 31-22 and had a 32-24 edge in points in the paint.
