Keisei Tominaga scored 19 points to lead Nebraska to a 79-59 win over Michigan in a Big Ten contest in Lincoln, Neb., on Saturday.

Josiah Allick had 16 points and eight rebounds and Brice Williams added 13 points for Nebraska (17-8, 7-7 Big Ten), which improved to 15-1 at home.

Tominaga scored 15 of his points in the first half on 6-of-9 shooting from the field.

Nimari Burnett scored 18 points and Tarris Reed Jr. had nine points and nine rebounds in defeat for Michigan (8-16, 3-10).

Nebraska shot 46.9 percent from the field (30 of 64) and limited Michigan to 32.3 percent shooting overall (20 of 62).

The Cornhuskers were in control throughout, going on a 13-0 run in the first half to take a 22-7 lead with 11:20 remaining until halftime.

It only got worse for the Wolverines, as Nebraska put together another 13-0 spurt later in the half to grab a 38-10 advantage with 6:53 left. Tominaga had seven points during the first outburst and five during the second.

The Cornhuskers went up by as many as 30 in the first half at 43-13 with 5:21 to go before Michigan closed the period with a 12-2 flurry that started with a three-point play from Reed, allowing the Wolverines to be within 45-25 at the break.

The Cornhuskers tried to quell Michigan's momentum when the second half started, going up 55-29 thanks to a layup from Allick with 17:03 remaining in the game.

The Wolverines then went on a 9-2 run to pull within 57-38 with 13:08 left, but Nebraska pushed its lead to 25 at 68-43 with 9:04 remaining following a pair of baskets from Williams.

Michigan still had life, though, using a 12-2 surge to cut its deficit to 70-55 with 4:52 remaining in the game.

But the Wolverines couldn't get any closer, and the Huskers cruised to the finish.
