Devin McGlockton's 15 points along with six rebounds led visiting Boston College to a 61-58 win over Atlantic Coast Conference rival Notre Dame on Saturday afternoon in South Bend, Ind.

McGlockton led the way for the Eagles (12-8, 3-6 ACC) before the duo of Quinten Post (10 points) and Claudell Harris Jr. (nine points) combined for all of their scoring in the second half.

Boston College shot 59.1 percent from the floor after intermission, grinding out a win with Post in foul trouble. He fouled out with 4:03 left.

J.R. Konieczny had a team-high 15 points and Braeden Shrewsberry sank four 3-pointers to highlight his 14-point performance for Notre Dame (7-13, 2-7), which has lost four straight to the Eagles.

Markus Burton had 10 points and seven rebounds while turning the ball over five times.

Post made three of the Eagles' first four second-half field goals before BC took a 35-32 lead with 13:11 left following McGlockton's extra pass to Mason Madsen for a 3-pointer.

Notre Dame cut its lead to two following jumpers from Burton and Shrewsberry before the halfway mark of the second, but Harris canned consecutive 3-pointers and scored eight straight to give the visitors a six-point lead at 7:57 left.

Shrewsberry's third trey and a Burton layup brought the Irish within a possession on two occasions before a Chas Kelley III transition finish at 4:45 made it 52-47 BC.

Foul shooting dominated both teams' scoring for about three minutes late in the half, though McGlockton's layup off an offensive rebound upped BC's lead to six with 3:09 left.

Burton's jumper capped a mini 4-0 Irish run with 1:21 left, but Jaeden Zackery's step-through layup rolled home and two free throws followed to ice the game.

Kebba Njie's 3-point look to tie clanked off the glass at the buzzer.

McGlockton's five points turned around Notre Dame's early 5-2 lead, though Post got in foul trouble with two quickly thereafter. Zackery's 3-pointer helped the Eagles extend a 9-0 run before the opening period was halfway done.

Four early turnovers and a 6:45 scoring drought stalled the Fighting Irish, but Konieczny went on a personal 8-0 run that included a go-ahead layup at 7:52.
