Tamin Lipsey poured in 17 points and Iowa State stayed perfect at home, topping Oklahoma State 66-42 in a Big 12 battle Saturday in Ames, Iowa.

Hason Ward and Milan Momcilovic finished with 12 points apiece and Tre King chipped in 11 for the Cyclones (13-3, 2-1 Big 12), who held a 42-16 scoring advantage in the paint en route to their 11th home win.

They won despite making only three 3-pointers, the first coming from Momcilovic to open the second half, pushing the Cyclones' advantage to 40-26.

Eric Dailey Jr. scored 12 for Oklahoma State (8-8, 0-3), which turned the ball over 20 times and struggled to get into a rhythm.

Despite travel issues stemming from the winter weather, delaying the game by more than two hours, Oklahoma State started strong, opening up a 12-8 lead.

It wasn't long before the script flipped as Iowa State heated up and Oklahoma State cooled off, going five-plus minutes without a basket.

Lipsey scored to give Iowa State its first lead of the night at 16-15 with 8:33 to play in the half, and that basket was part of a 12-0 run that gave the Cyclones a 22-15 cushion with 6:44 remaining.

King highlighted the run with a one-handed jam in transition that made the score 20-15.

Oklahoma State did itself no favors during that run, missing five shots and turning the ball over six times before. Dailey ended a 6-minute, 24-second scoring drought with a layup that cut the deficit to 22-17 at the 6:20 mark.

Lipsey gave Iowa State its first double-digit lead of the night at 27-17 and the Cyclones led 37-26 at the half.

Iowa State led by as many 24 when Keshon Gilbert made a layup for a 64-40 lead with 5:02 to play. The Cowboys did not score in the final 4:15.
