Devin Carter scored 25 points and Josh Oduro added 17 to lead five players in double figures and boost visiting Providence to a 100-62 victory against DePaul on Wednesday in Chicago.
Providence (12-6, 3-4 Big East) snapped a four-game losing streak while securing its first road win of the season.
DePaul (3-14, 0-6) lost for the fifth time in a row overall as its conference losing streak swelled to 18 games.
Oduro (nine rebounds) and Carter (seven) led the Friars to a plus-10 edge on the boards.
Jayden Pierre added 14 points for Providence while Rafael Castro and Rich Barron chipped in 12 apiece.
Elijah Fisher was the lone Blue Demon in double figures with 19 points. He matched Jalen Terry with a team-best five rebounds. Jaden Henley scored nine points.
DePaul committed 19 turnovers and shot 4-for-17 from long range.
Entering the game 14 points shy of 1,000 for his career, Carter accomplished the feat before the break, scoring 20 first-half points.
Carter scored the Friars' final eight points of the first half to help Providence take a 47-31 lead into the locker room. He was especially effective in the final 11 seconds, scoring on a layup before swooping in to steal the ensuing inbounds pass and hitting both free throws after getting fouled.
Seeking to snap a Big East losing streak that dates to Jan. 21 2023, at Providence, the Blue Demons led by four points in the early going. A layup by Churchill Abass snapped a 18-all tie with 11:15 remaining in the first half, but the Blue Demons couldn't keep pace after that.
Providence scored 29 of the game's next 43 points to seize control entering halftime.
DePaul committed three quick turnovers to open the second half while surrendering the first seven points out of the break. The Blue Demons didn't register their first points of the second half until Fisher's jumper at the 17:28 mark.
The Friars continued their dominance in the series, improving to 39-13 against DePaul all-time, including 16-8 on the road.
