Pittsburgh jumped out to a 10-0 lead within the first five minutes and went on to wallop visiting Jacksonville 107-56 on Friday night.

Blake Hinson finished with 25 points and six rebounds for Pitt, followed by Guillermo Diaz Graham with 23 and 10, respectively.

Marcus Niblack scored 22 points to lead Jacksonville (2-2), which had no one else reach double figures.

Pitt's Carlton Carrington had 17 points and Ishmael Leggett added 14.

Leggett and Hinson accounted for five points each over the Panthers' opening surge, before Gyasi Powell's jumper 5:38 into the contest got the Dolphins on the scoreboard.

Jacksonville's only other points in the first 11 minutes were two free throws by Bryce Workman.

Pitt (4-0) shot 47.4 from the floor in the first half and 45.8 percent for the game. The Panthers led by as many as 34 points in the first half and by 30 at the break. The Dolphins never got any closer.

Hinson's 21 points in the first half were one shy of Jacksonville's team total. He hit 3 of 7 from deep and 6 of 7 free throws.

The Dolphins hit only 24.1 percent from the floor in the first half, including missing all eight of their 3-point attempts. They shot 32.7 percent overall for the game and were just 1 of 15 from behind the arc.

Pitt scored at least 86 points for the fourth straight time, and raised its season average to 95.5. The Panthers have won 10 straight at home dating back to last season.

The Dolphins who were held below 60 points for the 10th time since the start of last year.
