Jalen Graham made two shots in the third overtime to give host Arizona State an 87-84 upset win over No. 3 UCLA in a Pac-12 game at Tempe, Ariz., on Saturday night.

DJ Horne and Jay Heath also hit 3-pointers in the final OT to help the Sun Devils (7-13, 3-7 Pac-12) snap a four-game losing streak.

The Bruins (16-4, 8-3) were swept in their swing to Arizona, the first time they have lost consecutive games this season. UCLA lost to the No. 7 Wildcats on Thursday.

Arizona State is the second unranked team in Division I history to beat an Associated Press top 5 team in three or more overtimes. Canisius beat No. 2 North Carolina State in four overtimes in 1956.

It was also the first triple-overtime game involving a team ranked No. 3 or higher since Jan. 4, 2016, when No. 1 Kansas outlasted No. 2 Oklahoma, 109-106.

Six Arizona State players scored in double figures, led by Marreon Jackson's 24 points. Graham finished with 16 points and 10 rebounds.

UCLA was led Jaime Jaquez Jr.'s 27 points and 11 rebounds.

After two early 3-pointers by Horne and Heath in the third overtime, Graham became the catalyst with two jump shots in the lane, the last with 1:46 remaining, to push the lead to 84-78.

Tyger Campbell's jump shot cut the lead to 84-80 with 1:20 left. Another basket by Campbell with 6 seconds left cut Arizona State's lead to 86-84.

After Jackson made one of two ensuing free throws, Jaquez missed both of his free-throw attempts with 2.2 seconds left. The second attempt clanged off the rim and UCLA could not get off a clean attempt as the buzzer sounded.

Graham made a jumper in the paint to tie the game at 74 with 2:10 left in the second overtime but neither team scored again, forcing the third OT.

In the first overtime, Jackson missed a 3-pointer with Jaquez defending and UCLA called a timeout with 1.4 seconds remaining.

Jaquez's full-court inbound pass went out of bounds without anybody touching it, so Arizona State was able to throw the ball in on its end of the court. Horne received the pass and missed a 3-point attempt in the corner at the buzzer.
