Tyrese Hunter added 11 points, eight rebounds and six assists for the Cyclones (9-0), who matched the third-best start in program history. Brockington fell one point shy of his career high and collected 10 rebounds as Iowa State snapped a three-game slide against the Hawkeyes.

Iowa showed some life with an 11-2 burst, moving within 57-42 on Bohannon's 3-pointer with 8:31 remaining.

But Kunc responded with a fast-break layup and Brockington drained a 3-pointer as the Cyclones pushed the lead back to 20 with 7:05 to play and cruised to the finish.
