Max Klesmit scored 11 of his 17 points in the final eight minutes as visiting Wofford defeated Georgia 68-65 on Sunday at Athens, Ga.

B.J. Mack added 16 points that included a couple of clutch baskets. Ryan Larson had 11 points and Sam Godwin provided 10 points for Wofford (5-2).

Georgia's losing streak was extended to four games.

Jabri Abdur-Rahim scored 20 points off the bench for the Bulldogs (2-5). Teammates Jailyn Ingram with 13 points and Kario Oquendo with 10 points helped the offense.

The game was tied at 50-50. Mack put the Terriers ahead with a basket and then Klesmit turned up the offense.

When the Bulldogs closed to within 59-57, Mack scored the next basket to pad the lead for Wofford.

At 67-65 with six seconds left, Mack missed a free throw before making the next attempt. Then Oquendo was off the mark on a potential tying 3-pointer on the game's last shot.

Wofford made 15 of 17 free throws, including a 7-for-7 effort from Klesmit. The Terriers were charged with only eight turnovers.

The Terriers overcame 7-for-29 shooting on 3-pointers and 39-percent shooting overall.

Georgia was hampered by 19 turnovers, wiping out much of the impact of its 54.3-percent shooting from the field. The Bulldogs missed 21 shots from the floor but managed just four offensive rebounds.

Abdur-Rahim, who was 6-for-7 overall from the field, accounted for four of the Bulldogs' six 3-point baskets.

Wofford took 13 more attempts (59 to 46) than Georgia from the field.

Wofford went almost four minutes early in the second half without a field goal, but Mack's jumper tied the game at 40-40.

Wofford led for chunks of the first half before Abdur-Rahim's 3-pointer gave Georgia a 33-32 halftime lead.

Wofford was playing a Southeastern Conference opponent for the second game in a row after losing 85-74 at South Carolina.
