Eugene Omoruyi scored 19 points to help Oregon to a 74-64 win against visiting San Francisco on Thursday night at Eugene, Ore.

Eric Williams Jr. added 16 points and Amauri Hardy and Chris Duarte scored 11 points apiece for Oregon (5-1), which has won five in a row.

Taavi Jurkatamm scored a career-high 15 points and Khalil Shabazz had 11 for San Francisco (5-4). which set up the game with Oregon on Tuesday, shortly after its game at USC on Wednesday night was cancelled because the Trojans had a player test positive for COVID-19.

Oregon took a 10-point lead into the half and then scored the first 11 points of the second half to open up a 52-31 lead.

San Francisco managed to get back within single digits on a fast-break layup by Shabazz off a third straight turnover by Oregon with 1:58 left.

Jamaree Bouyea made it 70-64 on an inside basket with 1:31 remaining, but the Dons couldn't get any closer.

San Francisco took a 16-9 lead on a three-point play by Jurkatamm with 13:32 left in the first half, but the Ducks came back with a 15-2 run to move ahead 24-18 with 6:50 remaining in the half.

Williams made a layup to give Oregon its first double-digit lead at 33-22 and the Ducks led by as many as 13 before taking a 41-31 lead into the break.

Jurkatamm, who had never scored in double figures in his four-year career at San Francisco, had 13 points in the first half after making all four of his field-goal attempts.

San Francisco, which entered the day second in the nation in 3-pointers (95) and sixth in 3-pointers per game (11.9), shot 2 for 14 from beyond the arc in the first half and 8 for 35 for the game, ending a streak of seven straight games of making at least 10.

Williams, who scored 905 points in two seasons at Duquesne, is 10 points away from 1,000 in his college career.
