Michigan State dominated the boards, 52-20, and scored 28 second-chance points.
The Spartans' lead was just one, 46-45, after Moore made a steal and fast-break layup one minute into the second half.
Michigan State then reeled off 13 unanswered points. Henry sparked the run with a 3-pointer. Langford scored the next five points on a putback and 3-pointer. Rocket Watts completed the outburst with a second-chance basket and a transition 3-pointer.
Micah Parrish's putback halted the run and began an 8-2 spurt for Oakland. Moore hit two 3s in the span to make the score 61-53.
The Spartans' defense allowed Michigan State to stretch the lead to 14 at 69-55. Watts and Langford scored off turnovers and Hall completed the 6-0 spurt with a jump shot.
A Moore basket cut the Spartans' lead to 74-62. Michigan State then put the game away with a 14-5 run. Langford and Brown had three-point plays during that span and Hauser finished it off with a 3-pointer to make it 88-67 with 8:34 left.
The combination of Williams' shooting and a disruptive zone allowed the Golden Grizzlies to keep it close in the first half.
Williams made six of 11 3-point attempts while scoring 23 points. The Spartans committed 12 turnovers, but still emerged with a 44-40 halftime advantage.
Henry scored 10 points prior to the break but the big difference was rebounding. Michigan State grabbed 11 offensive rebounds, leading to 14 second-chance points.
The Spartans have won all 19 meetings between the schools.
