Zach Edey scored 21 points to lead No. 23 Purdue to a 73-69 win over No. 25 Wisconsin on Tuesday in West Lafayette, Ind.

Jaden Ivey scored 18 points for Purdue (17-8, 12-6 Big Ten), which has won four straight and 10 of its last 13 games since starting league play 2-3.

Brad Davison scored 15 points for Wisconsin (16-10, 10-9), which has lost four of its past five games.

With the game tied at 52-52, two free throws by Edey and a basket by Ivey gave the Boilermakers a four-point lead with 6:40 left.

Wisconsin pulled within 63-62 with 3:21 remaining on a 3-pointer by Davison, and then after the teams traded baskets, Purdue took a 67-64 lead with 2:14 remaining on a layup by Eric Hunter Jr.

Purdue then took a 69-64 lead with 41.4 seconds remaining after a dunk by Trevion Williams, but the Badgers pulled within 69-67 on a 3-pointer by D'Mitrik Trice with 28.4 seconds remaining.

Isaiah Thompson hit two free throws with 27.9 seconds left to give the Boilermakers a 71-67 lead, and then Purdue got the ball back following a miss by Davison with 18 seconds to go.

Hunter was fouled and missed two free throws with 13.3 seconds remaining, which allowed Wisconsin to close within 71-69 after a basket by Aleem Ford with four seconds remaining.

Ivey was fouled and sealed the game by making two free throws with 2.2 seconds left.

Wisconsin got off to a good start, taking a 13-5 lead 5:13 into the game.

But Purdue answered with a 13-2 run to take an 18-15 with 7:35 left in the first half, and continued to build a lead, going up 30-23 with 2:18 remaining until halftime.

But Wisconsin scored the last five points to pull within 30-28 at halftime.
