Rob Phinisee scored a career-high 18 points and Trayce Jackson-Davis posted his fifth double-double of the season with 15 points and 11 rebounds, lifting Indiana to an 84-76 win over Nebraska on Sunday in Lincoln, Neb.

Nebraska (4-8, 0-5 Big Ten) rallied from down 18 points in the first half, taking a 69-66 lead on a driving layup by Trey McGowans with 7:21 remaining. But Indiana (8-5, 3-3) regrouped with big shots and big plays down the stretch to hand the Cornhuskers their 21st consecutive conference loss.

Teddy Allen led Nebraska with 21 points. After an Allen 3-pointer cut Indiana's lead to 77-75 with 2:10 remaining, Jerome Hunter came up with a big play for Hoosiers, following up his own missed shot with a short basket to put Indiana back up 79-75 with 1:33 left.

Aljami Durham added 17 points for Indiana, while Race Thompson chipped in with 11 points. Lat Mayen scored a career-high 15 points for Nebraska, going 5-of-9 from 3-point range, while Tennessee transfer Derrick Walker had 10 points and three rebounds in his Nebraska debut.

Indiana shot 52.9 percent from the field and 53.8 percent from 3-point range to build a 46-34 halftime lead. The Hoosiers got off to a torrid start, making seven of their first nine 3-point attempts to build an early 18-point lead.

But after a Phinisee 3-pointer put Indiana up 31-13, Nebraska responded with an 8-0 run, cutting the Indiana lead to 31-21 on a Mayen 3-pointer.

The Cornhuskers cut Indiana's lead to 42-34 on an inside basket from Walker, but Indiana closed the half with a pair of put-back baskets, one from Hunter and one from Trey Galloway at the first half buzzer to go up 42-34 at halftime.

Phinisee scored 16 points to help Indiana post its highest scoring total in the first half since its season opener against Tennessee Tech (48 points).
