Jeremiah Tilmon scored 14 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and blocked three shots to lead No. 17 Missouri past Texas A&M 68-52 in College Station, Texas.

Dru Smith had 15 points, six assists and six rebounds as the Tigers (8-2 overall, 2-2 SEC) returned from a two-game COVID-19 shutdown. Javon Pickett came off the bench to add 12 points.

Andre Gordon scored 19 points, and Jay Jay Chandler added 11 for the Aggies (7-5, 2-4).

Tilmon's strong inside play has given the Tigers a new element during conference play. He has scored 55 points and grabbed 27 rebounds in his last three games.

Missouri blocked six shots and held the Aggies to 36.5 percent shooting from the floor.

The Aggies started fast after coming off of a 56-55 victory at Mississippi State. Gordon hit a 3-point jumper nine seconds into the game, as Texas A&M took a quick 5-0 lead.

The Tigers responded with a 7-0 spurt triggered by Dru Smith's 3-point shot.

But Texas A&M edged ahead 22-15, as Savion Flagg hit a 3-pointer, Chandler knocked down a mid-range jumper and Emanuel Miller scored on a drive to the basket to cap a 7-0 run.

Missouri answered with a 12-2 run to take a 27-24 halftime lead. Pickett hit a corner 3-pointer and a baseline drive on back-to-back possessions during the run.

The Tigers led despite turning the ball over 10 times and missing 14 of 25 shots during the first 20 minutes.

Missouri opened the second half with Dru Smith and Xavier Pinson scoring on drives to the basket to forge a 31-24 lead.

The Tigers took control of the game with an 18-5 surge that expanded their lead to 52-34 with 10:56 left to play. The key play was Mitchell Smith's four-point play on a dunk and two free throws after a flagrant foul call with 11:20 to go.
