Georgia State had four players with 20-plus points and recorded its first win over an ACC opponent on Wednesday when the Panthers outlasted Georgia Tech 123-120 in four overtimes at McCamish Pavilion in Atlanta.

Georgia State took a three-point lead when JoJo Toppin made the first of two free throws with 3.6 seconds left. Georgia Tech grabbed the rebound and Bubba Parham missed a game-tying 3-pointer at the buzzer.

It was Georgia State's third victory over Georgia Tech and the first since 1976, before the Yellow Jackets joined the ACC.

Georgia State got 26 points and nine rebounds from Justin Roberts, 22 points each from Corey Allen and Eliel Nsoseme and 21 points and 12 rebounds from Kane Williams.

Georgia Tech got 31 points and 20 rebounds from Moses Wright before he fouled out. The Yellow Jackets also got 29 points and 10 rebounds from Jose Alvarado and 24 points and 12 rebounds from Michael Devoe. Parham had 16 points off the bench.

Georgia State had a chance to win the game at the end of both overtimes. Williams missed a runner at the end of the first overtime and Roberts missed a 3-pointer at the end of the second overtime. The Panthers tied the game at 110-110 after three overtimes when freshman Collin Moore made two free throws with one second left.

The game was tied four times inside the final five minutes of regulation, the last coming when Georgia State's Roberts made a long 3-pointer from the left wing with 1:49 remaining to make it 77-77. Georgia Tech had a chance to win it in regulation when Devoe missed a jumper with four seconds left.

Georgia Tech had an eight-point lead when Parham made a 3-pointer for a 13-5 lead and had a six-point lead after Jordan Usher's layup with 12:13 remaining made it 15-9.

But that's when Georgia State got on its roll. Sparked by a pair of Allen jumpers, one of them a 3-pointer, and a fast-break basket by freshman Collin Moore, the Panthers went on a 17-0 run and seized a 26-15 advantage with 8:01 left. The Panthers led 38-31 at halftime.

Georgia State extended its lead to 55-44 on a layup by Allen with 14:33 left in the game, but the Yellow Jackets went on a 15-4 run and tied the game 59-59 on Parham's 3-pointer with 9:34 remaining.
