Rasir Bolton scored a game-high 23 points Saturday night, and Iowa State feasted on Oklahoma turnovers in an 81-68 Big 12 Conference rout in Ames, Iowa.

Tyrese Halliburton added 15 points and eight assists for the Cyclones (8-7, 1-2), while Tre Jackson and Terrence Lewis came off the bench to chip in 12 and 10 points, respectively. Iowa State canned 47.8 percent of its field-goal attempts, including 12 of 30 from beyond the 3-point line.

Five players scored in double figures for the Sooners (11-4, 2-1), led by Brady Manek's 17 points that included 5-of-6 shooting from deep. Kristian Doolittle scored 14, while Austin Reaves added 12 points but also committed six turnovers. De'Vion Harmon hit for 11 in a reserve role and Jamal Bieniemy tallied 10 points.

The big problem for Oklahoma was Iowa State's ability to continually capitalize on mistakes. The Cyclones scored a whopping 32 points off 15 turnovers and also collected 15 fast-break points to the Sooners' none.

Ahead by 17 points as the second half started, the Cyclones wasted no time putting this one in the win column. They opened the half with a 13-4 spurt, increasing the lead to 55-29 on Bolton's 3-pointer with 17:27 left. The Sooners never got closer than the 13-point final margin.

Bolton set an immediate tone on Iowa State's first points of the game -- a 3-pointer off a turnover. It was a theme that repeated itself throughout the night. Oklahoma made mistakes, and the Cyclones usually converted them into points.

The Sooners did manage to lead for nearly four minutes in the first half, but Iowa State took control for good by rattling off 10 straight points. Lewis was primarily responsible for that with eight points, including a 3-pointer that made it 20-14 at the 8:09 mark.

The Cyclones then finished the half with 12 consecutive points, including a 35-footer from the right wing by Halliburton that beat the buzzer and sent them into the locker room with a 42-25 lead. Iowa State forced nine turnovers and reaped 19 points off them before the break.
