Jordan Nwora scored 20 points on 7-of-15 shooting, and No. 13 Louisville held on for a 67-64 win over host Notre Dame on Saturday afternoon in South Bend, Ind.

Ryan McMahon added 17 points off the bench on 6-for-10 shooting for Louisville (13-3, 4-1 Atlantic Coast Conference). Dwayne Sutton finished with 10 points and 14 rebounds.

John Mooney and T.J. Gibbs scored 15 points apiece for Notre Dame (10-6, 1-4), with Mooney also grabbing 19 rebounds. Dane Goodwin contributed 14 points. Prentiss Hubb shot just 3 of 14 from the field en route to eight points, while also contributing eight assists.

Notre Dame led 62-60 with 3:01 remaining, but Louisville roared back with a 7-0 run to go ahead 67-62. Nwora started the Cardinals' late rally with a jump shot, Sutton made a 3-pointer and Lamarr Kimble added a layup.

Gibbs trimmed the deficit to three points with two free throws with 1:05 to go, but Notre Dame did not score again, missing a layup with 6 seconds left.

Louisville led for much of the game, but Notre Dame took a 55-53 lead with 7:04 remaining when Goodwin made a 3-pointer off an assist from Hubb. The Fighting Irish increased their lead to four points before the Cardinals answered to go up 60-59 with 3:27 remaining.

Notre Dame stormed back from a 16-point deficit in the first half. The Fighting Irish opened the second half with an 11-1 run to pull within 37-35. Goodwin capped Notre Dame's scoring binge with back-to-back 3-pointers. Mooney also made a 3-pointer during the run, and Gibbs made a jump shot.

The Fighting Irish jumped to a 7-2 lead to start the game after a jump shot by Mooney, a 3-pointer by Rex Pflueger and a jump shot by Juwan Durham. But the advantage quickly faded as Louisville went on an extended 32-11 run for 30-14 advantage, capped by McMahon's layup.

Louisville built a 36-24 lead at the half.
