Quade Green's 20 points and eight assists off the bench led No. 22 Washington to a 90-80 win over Eastern Washington on Wednesday night in Seattle.

Jaden McDaniels scored 17 points before fouling out, and Washington made 29 free throws to Eastern Washington's 12. The Huskies (7-1) tuned up for a showdown with No. 9 Gonzaga on Sunday.

Kim Aiken Jr. led the Eagles (4-3) with 26 points, making six 3-pointers. Jacob Davison added 12 points and eight rebounds, and Tyler Kidd also scored 12 points for Eastern Washington.

The Huskies found themselves down 10-1 three minutes into the game, but they responded by scoring the next 10 points. McDaniels made two jumpers and hit three free throws in that stretch.

Washington stayed in front until an Aiken 3-pointer -- his third of the half -- at the 5:00 mark tied the score at 33. Then Washington went on another big run.

The Huskies outscored the Eagles 14-2 over the final 4:46 of the half to take a 47-35 lead into the break. Sixteen of their first-half points came from the foul line.

McDaniels and leading scorer Isaiah Stewart picked up their fourth personal fouls early in the second half, but Washington maintained a comfortable advantage. Six-foot-11 Sam Timmins came off the bench for Stewart and dropped in a 3-pointer from the top of the arc, giving the Huskies a 71-54 lead with 8:36 to play.

It was Timmins' first 3-point attempt of the season. The New Zealand native finished with 11 points and six rebounds.

Washington's Jamal Bey hit a 3-pointer from the corner for a 79-59 lead with four minutes left, putting the game out of reach for the Eagles.

Nahziah Carter had 13 points for the Huskies, four on a pair of flying dunks, and Stewart finished with 12 points and six rebounds before exiting with five fouls.
