Wichita State's Daishon Smith blew past Khadeem Lattin and then blew up Kristian Doolittle.

Smith's thunderous dunk with 8:28 remaining ignited an offensive outburst by the Shockers that lifted them to a 76-73 win over Oklahoma at Chesapeake Energy Arena on Saturday in the All-College Classic at Oklahoma City.

The junior guard hadn't scored to that point but scored six consecutive points to put Wichita State ahead by nine.

Later, he delivered a 3-pointer with just less than two minutes remaining to all but seal the win.

The Sooners cut the lead to one with Jordan Woodard's 3-pointer with four seconds left but Oklahoma couldn't foul until just 0.5 seconds remained and Wichita State didn't allow the Sooners another shot.

Zach Brown led the Shockers (9-2) with 17 points while Smith added 13 and Darral Willis Jr. 12.

Woodard had 28 but was just 7 of 17 from the floor for Oklahoma (6-3) while Christian James added 15.

The Sooners were just 6 of 21 from behind the 3-point line while Wichita State hit nine 3-pointers.

Though the game was just less than 25 miles from Oklahoma's campus and more than 160 from Wichita State, the crowd was split roughly in half.

Oklahoma missed its first six 3-pointers before Matt Freeman's with eight minutes left in the half sparked a 10-3 run that put the Sooners up by five.

But in the closing minutes of the half, Oklahoma went cold from the floor and the Shockers took advantage.

The Sooners were just 2 of 14 from the floor to close the half, not hitting a field goal in the final 3:05. Wichita State scored the final six points before the break to go into the break trailing 39-37.
