Haanif Cheatam scored 20 points and Katin Reinhardt added 16 off the bench as Marquette snapped a two-game losing streak and broke the century mark for the first time this season with a 104-79 victory over Indiana University -- Purdue University Indianapolis on Tuesday night at the Bradley Center.

Cheatham hit 7 of 9 shots while Reinhardt made up for a 3-of-10 showing by going 8-for-8 from the free throw line. Luke Fischer was a perfect 6-for-6 to finish with 16 points as the Golden Eagles shot 60 percent as a team and was 9-for-21 from 3-point distance.

Eleven of the 12 players to take the court for Marquette scored in the contest.

Ron Patterson and Darrell Combs led IUPUI with 15 points each. Matt O'Leary added 12 with nine records and five assists and D.J. McCall finished with 10 for the Jaguars, who shot 41.2 percentt from the floor and were 6-for-20 on 3-point attempts.

After getting off to sluggish starts in their last two outings, the Golden Eagles' offense was clicking on all cylinders early against the Jaguars.

Marquette shot 60 percent and hit 5 of 11 3-point attempts while turning the ball over just five times to jump out to a 57-37 lead at half.

Matt O'Leary and Ron Patterson scored eight points each in the first 20 minutes but IUPUI made only 14 of 34 shots and turned the ball over nine times.

The loss snapped a two-game winning streak for IUPUI, which will play its next five in a row and seven of its next eight contests on the road.
