Guard Kris Dunn returned to the court and helped 10th-ranked Providence win its sixth game in a row, 90-66 over Massachusetts on Monday night in Amherst, Mass.

Dunn scored 14 points and dished out 11 assists in the win after a severe stomach virus kept him out the Friars' last two games.

Dunn, the Big East co-Player of the Year last season, came into Monday's game averaging 16.8 points, 6.9 assists and 6.1 rebounds.

Sophomore forward Ben Bentil led Providence (12-1) with 32 points on 11-of-16 shooting. He snared 12 rebounds as well for his third double-double of the season and second in as many games.

The Friars never trailed against the Minutemen (6-5), beginning the game with two 3-pointers by sophomore wing Jalen Lindsey (15 points) and opening up an 18-point lead with just under eight minutes remaining in the first half.

Though Massachusetts would close that gap to 12 by the break, the Friars would quickly get the margin back to 18 in the second half. The game never got closer than 17 over the final 15 minutes of play.

UMass was led by senior guard Jabarie Hinds, who had 16 points.
