No. 7 Arizona 82, Colorado 54: Stanley Johnson led a balanced offense with 15 points as the visiting Wildcats rolled over the Buffaloes for their fifth straight victory.

Gabe York made four 3-pointers en route to 14 points and Kaleb Tarczewski also scored 14 on his 22nd birthday for Arizona (25-3, 13-2 Pac-12), which has won 11 of its last 12 contests. Rondae Hollis-Jefferson chipped in with 11 points and a team-high eight rebounds while Brandon Ashley also scored 11 for the Wildcats, who shot 52.9 percent from the field.

Askia Booker led the way with 14 points for Colorado (12-15, 5-10), which has dropped three in a row and six of its last seven games. Josh Scott added nine points, six rebounds and four blocked shots for the Buffaloes, who were 2-of-9 from behind the 3-point arc and managed only six assists.

York drained a 3-pointer to highlight an 11-2 burst early on and he hit another from behind the arc for a 15-point lead before Arizona settled for a 37-25 edge at intermission. York scored 11 and Hollis-Jefferson added seven while the Wildcats held Colorado to 33.3 percent shooting in the opening 20 minutes.

Tarczewski made a jumper, dunked off a pass from York and scored inside for six straight points to push Arizona’s lead to 51-32 with under 15 minutes remaining. York made his fourth 3-pointer with a little over seven minutes to go for a 64-40 advantage and the Wildcats cruised from there.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Wildcats, who had a 38-25 edge on the boards, have won six straight against Colorado and lead the series 13-11 overall. … Scott became the fifth Colorado player to accumulate 1,000 points (1,047), 600 rebounds (618) and 100 blocks (101) in his career. … Arizona G T.J. McConnell finished with six points, a game-high six assists and two steals.
