No. 16 Arkansas 81, Texas A&M 75: Bobby Portis scored 22 points and had three blocks as the host Razorbacks held off a furious second half rally by the Aggies to secure their seventh straight victory.

Anthlon Bell scored 14 points, including 4-of-7 3-pointers, and Rashad Madden and Alandise Harris each added 11 points for Arkansas (23-5, 12-3 SEC). The Razorbacks finished with 12 steals and forced 21 turnovers en route to a 27-4 edge in points off turnovers.

Danuel House scored 28 points and Jalen Jones had 10 points and 13 rebounds for Texas A&M (19-8, 10-5), which had a three-game winning streak snapped. Kourtney Roberson finished with 14 points and eight rebounds and Alex Robinson added 11 points for the Aggies, who lost despite finishing with a 44-23 rebounding edge, including 22 offensive boards that led to 18 second-chance points.

Texas A&M, which came in averaging 11.8 turnovers, had five on its first six possessions as Arkansas bolted to a 10-0 lead. Bell came off the bench to nail four 3-pointers and along with Portis had 14 points as the Razorbacks, who led by as many as 25 points, went into halftime with a 49-26 advantage.

The Aggies chipped away at the lead in the second half and used a 10-0 run capped by a Jones fallaway jumper to close to within 71-65 with five minutes to go. After Portis scored inside to snap the run, A&M got as close as 74-72 on a House layup before the Razorbacks put the game away with a 7-0 run.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Arkansas honored Nolan Richardson, who coached the Hogs to the 1994 NCAA Championship, at halftime by raising a banner with his name into the rafters at Bud Walton Arena. ... House is 12-of-20 from 3-point range over the last two games. ... Portis has scored in double figures in 23 consecutive games.
