Johnathan Williams III had 13 points and 10 rebounds – his fifth double-double of the season – to pace Missouri (7-19, 1-12), which matched a school record with its 12th straight setback. Freshman Tramaine Isabell returned from a five-game disciplinary suspension to score 13 points off the bench while fellow reserves Jakeenan Gant and Montaque Gill-Caesar added 11 points apiece for the Tigers, who shot 50 percent from the field but committed a season-high 20 turnovers.

Arkansas took a 37-29 lead into the second half, scored the first seven points of the period and then took a 50-32 lead on a Rashad Madden trey with 17:48 remaining. Missouri was only able to pull as close as 12 points on four occasions from there as the hosts shot 50 percent from the field, including 5-of-9 3-pointers, over the second 20 minutes to maintain control.

It was a back-and-forth game early and an Isabell 3-pointer put Missouri up 19-16 with 10:26 remaining in the first half. However, the Tigers didn’t score over the ensuing seven minutes as Arkansas forced nine turnovers during the span to reel off a 15-0 run en route to the eight-point halftime lead.
