Missouri 74, LSU 67 (OT): Johnathan Williams posted 21 points and 10 rebounds as Missouri topped visiting LSU in an all-Tigers matchup.

Wes Clark contributed 13 points and Keanau Post had 12 as Missouri (7-7, 1-0 SEC) won consecutive games for just the third time this season. The hosts limited LSU to two points - a pair of Tim Quarterman free throws - in overtime and took control when Williams made a jumper and a free throw and Keith Shamburger went 4-of-4 from the line in the final minute.

Quarterman led the way with 19 points in a reserve role for LSU (11-3, 0-1), which was 0-of-8 from the field in the extra session. Among the factors that doomed the visitors were 19 turnovers, 13-of-23 foul shooting and a 6-of-22 performance from outside the arc.

Shamburger made a 3-pointer, Tramaine Isabell knocked down one of his own and Clark scored eight points in just over a minute - including two 3s - to help Missouri open up a 60-56 lead with 3 1/2 minutes to go in regulation. Keith Hornsby tied it with a corner 3-pointer with 10.1 seconds left and Clark missed a runner at the other end.

LSU held an early 17-6 lead before Namon Wright made consecutive 3-pointers and later drained another to get Missouri within 27-25. The visitors led 30-27 at halftime and got their first 13 second-half points from frontline stars Jarell Martin and Jordan Mickey as LSU held a slim lead before opening up a 54-46 advantage with about eight minutes left in the second half.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Hornsby and Post led their respective teams with nine first-half points. ... Mickey had nine points and 17 rebounds while Martin notched nine points and seven boards. However, they combined to shoot 7-of-23 with eight turnovers. ... Hornsby pitched in 17 points for LSU, which had its eight-game winning streak snapped.
