Jabari Parker tied his career high with 27 points as the Blue Devils advanced to the finals of the NIT Season Tip-Off at Madison Square Garden.

Parker went 9-of-12 from the floor and added eight rebounds for Duke (6-1), which will play No. 3 Arizona in the championship game at 6 p.m. ET Friday. Quinn Cook hit three 3-pointers and scored 17 points and Matt Jones had 13 points off the bench for the Blue Devils, who committed a season-high 19 turnovers.

Nick Jacobs (18) and Algie Key (11) combined for 29 points off the bench to lead Alabama (3-2). Trevor Releford also had 11 points for the Crimson Tide but didn't make a field goal until there was just over three minutes left in the game.

Duke started 1-of-12 from the floor before Jones' back-to-back 3-pointers got the Blue Devils rolling. Cook had back-to-back layups and Parker scored seven straight points during an 11-2 run that gave the Blue Devils a 33-22 halftime lead.

Alabama used a 12-0 run - spurred by five Duke turnovers and three Jacobs layups - to get within 46-40 with about 12 minutes left and went on a 7-0 run to get within five with just under six minutes left. Parker ended both runs with baskets and Tyler Thornton's steal and layup with just under two minutes left sealed the Duke win.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Alabama will play Drexel at 3:30 p.m. Friday in the consolation game. ... The Blue Devils, who have won the NIT Season Tip-Off four times, improved to 25-2 at the tournament. ... Alabama's top two scorers - Releford and Retin Obasohan - combined for one point in the first half.
