Duquesne 71, No. 8 Saint Louis 64: Micah Mason scored a career-high 22 points and Jerry Jones had a season-high 19 as the visiting Dukes stunned the Billikens to record one of the college basketball season's biggest upsets.

Duquesne (12-15, 4-10 Atlantic 10) entered having lost six of its last seven games but somehow mustered up its best effort of the season to snap Saint Louis' school-record 19-game winning streak. The Billikens (25-3, 12-1) had not lost since Dec. 1 against Wichita State - the lone undefeated team in the country - but shot only 4-of-23 from 3-point range in losing to a scuffling team that entered 1-5 on the road in conference play.

Mason was 6-of-8 from the floor and 4-of-5 from 3-point range while Jones was 3-of-4 from behind the arc as Duquesne hit 8-of-15 3-point attempts overall. Mike McCall Jr. had 18 points and Dwayne Evans contributed 10 points and 12 rebounds for the Billikens, who had more turnovers (16) than assists (14) and were outscored 46-35 in the second half.

The Dukes trailed 29-25 at halftime and fell seven points behind when Jordair Jett's layup made it 42-35 with just over 14 minutes left, only to score 18 of the next 20 points to take a 53-44 lead. Mason began the pivotal surge with a 3-pointer before Jones scored 12 points in less than six minutes, including a pair of 3-pointers.

Rob Loe made 1-of-2 foul shots with 58 seconds left to draw Saint Louis within 61-57, but Jones answered with a layup and Mason knocked down a pair of free throws to restore an eight-point advantage. Jett's layup with 34 seconds to go made it 65-59, but Jones' transition dunk put an exclamation point on the resounding upset.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The last time Duquesne won on the road against a top 10 team was March 5, 1962 versus Bradley. ... Jones had not scored more than seven points in any of his last 11 games. ... Jett finished with 13 points but also had five turnovers.
