Clemson 73, North Carolina State 56: Rod Hall scored a career-high 20 points as the Tigers fended off the visiting Wolfpack.

Damarcus Harrison added 14 points for Clemson (16-9, 7-6 ACC), which snapped a three-game losing streak. K.J. McDaniels recorded 12 points and a game-high six blocks while Landry Nnoko scored nine points to go along with six rebounds for the Tigers, who finished 22-of-26 from the free-throw line.

T.J. Warren led the way with 20 points and five rebounds, but committed six turnovers for North Carolina State (16-10, 6-7), which has dropped two straight games. Ralston Turner tallied 11 points for the Wolfpack, who shot just 9-of-14 from the charity stripe.

Hall converted a three-point play to give Clemson a 26-14 lead before Turner keyed a 19-6 run to close out the first half and put North Carolina State on top 33-32. The Tigers scored the first nine points of the second stanza to go up by eight and they stretched their advantage to 51-39 after Adonis Filer knocked down a 3-pointer.

Warren tried single-handedly to get the Wolfpack back on track as he scored seven consecutive points to trim the deficit to seven with over nine minutes remaining. McDaniels' putback dunk gave Clemson a 66-49 lead it would not relinquish as the Tigers went above the .500 mark in ACC play.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Clemson has won five of the last six meetings with North Carolina State at Littlejohn Coliseum. … The Wolfpack started off 11-of-20 from the field before finishing 21-of-46. … The Tigers improved to 11-2 at home this season.
