Memphis 60, No. 20 Gonzaga 54: Michael Dixon Jr. scored all 11 of his points in the second half as the host Tigers rallied for a big non-conference victory.

Chris Crawford also scored 11 points and Shaq Goodwin and Joe Jackson contributed 10 points apiece for the Tigers (18-5). Memphis, which ended the game on a 17-2 run, shot just 34.5 percent from the floor but posted a 44-28 advantage on the glass in defeating the Bulldogs for the sixth time in the last seven meetings.

Sam Dower led Gonzaga (21-4) with 18 points and eight rebounds. Przemek Karnowski and Gerard Coleman each had 12 points for the Bulldogs, who finished 2-of-16 from beyond the arc.

Tigers forward Dominic Woodson was ejected five minutes into the second half after committing a flagrant two foul, giving the Bulldogs a four-point possession and a 42-30 lead. The incident seemed to spark the hosts, however, as a dramatic block by Jackson on Karnowski - who has a height advantage of one foot - sparked a 12-2 run that cut it to a two-point margin.

Gonzaga rebuilt a nine-point advantage but Dixon had five points in a 7-0 surge that again pulled the Tigers within a basket and scored in transition with 1:12 to go to give Memphis a 55-54 lead - its first since midway through the first half. The Bulldogs then turned it over on a shot clock violation and the Tigers hit five more free throws to seal it.
